Conditional Action Programmer (CAP) from Microsoft Research serves as a new task completion agent to connect the apps and devices you love with “if, then” statements to handle repetitive actions automatically.

CAP allows you to be more productive and is similar to IFTTT and Microsoft Flow services. It connects with a number of services such as Date and Time, Facebook, Email, RSS Feed, Weather, Stocks, SMS, Pocket, OneDrive For Business, and Email.

Conditional Action Programmer offers a unique feature that allows to create a new task using natural language instead of formulas. This facilitates the creation of task, or “recipes” how they are called in the case of IFTTT.
