Version 4.2 provides the following tweaks to the OneDrive for Android app:
- Improved sharing sheet. This allows users to send photos and files to anyone faster.
- Improved scroller. OneDrive will have an improved scroller, which was requested by a lot of users in its feedback forums.
- Microsoft hinted on more features to be included in future updates but did not specify.
OneDrive for Android lets users share documents, photos and other files from an Android smartphone or tablet with any other computer via web-links or by sharing folders with one of the other OneDrive clients for Windows, Mac OS X or iOS.
Documents saved in the cloud can be viewed and updated with a Microsoft account, or with an Office 365 work or school account.
The application can also quickly open and save OneDrive files in Office apps such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Users are quickly notified for changes in their files, and can easily find photos thanks to automatic tagging.
