Microsoft´s Sway storytelling App which was launched in August can now use OneDrive for Business. Sway for iPhone and iPad gets improved with More grouping and navigation options.
Adding OneDrive for Business to the list of supported sources makes Sway more versatile for users of Office 365 work and school accounts. Usually that kind of users store big collections in the cloud. Importing them can be done now directly out of Sway using the Insert tab.
Sway is a publishing tool which is aimed to help creating semi-professional designs in an easy way. The app has been released in August 2015 after a ten months preview period where users shared input to improve its usability.
In presentations done with Sway users add raw content, which Sway's design engine transforms into a polished, cohesive layout where images, text, videos and other media flow together.
Sway for iPhone and iPad updates
Sway for iOS has been improved with the additional group options Comparison, Slideshow and Grid. According to Microsoft they help to “transform your multimedia, as well as change your Sway's overall layout to the recently added option that is optimized for presentations.”
The Preview functionality works faster now, switching between Edit and Preview modes is less of a hassle. You can “see the polished and cohesive design continuously taking shape as you add and modify your content.”
Last, an annoying bug where Sway stopped working in some instances when several images were added at once has been fixed.
