Microsoft is set to announce its integration of OpenAI's ChatGPT into Bing search results at a press event tomorrow. The event, to be held at the company's Redmond headquarters, is expected to primarily focus on Microsoft's partnership with OpenAI.
The event starts at 10AM PT / 1PM ET on February 7th, with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella expected to make “exciting progress” announcements. The invite came days after Microsoft's $10 billion deal with OpenAI, which made the software giant the exclusive cloud partner for OpenAI.
Surprise Event after Google Announcement
The move comes shortly after Google today announced its own ChatGPT rival, Bard. Microsoft's integration of ChatGPT into Bing will provide “complete answers” to real questions, according to the company. There are also rumors that Microsoft is planning to deploy OpenAI models into its consumer and enterprise products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Microsoft's event will take place a day before Google holds its own event about search and AI.
