Small updates for the company’s Office apps on Windows 10 Mobile have been rolled out quietly to the Windows Store without changelogs.

Microsoft is rolling out a few minor upgrades for its Office applications on its own Windows 10 Mobile platform, bringing small tweaks and some enhancements.

Updates are arriving on Excel, PowerPoint, and Word from Microsoft’s Office suite, but they are all small enough that the company has not even posted any changelogs to the Windows Store pages for those apps.

PowerPoint for example seems to have just has a patch to solve some bugs, but at least Excel and Word are getting a couple of new features.

Lovable Lumia, the outlet that first noticed the update, gathered all the necessary changes coming to the Office apps for Windows 10 Mobile.

Word Mobile:

Merge and split cells

You can now merge cells to make a heading span across columns, or split cells to show the right level of details.

Excel Mobile:

Copy an entire worksheet

No need to start from scratch! Get a worksheet set up just the way you line, and then duplicate it.

Of course, Microsoft’s Office apps are now cross platform services and are available on Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android systems, although there is no word on whether these updates will land on those other apps.

Some recent updates for Microsoft’s other services have been focused on integrating Office, such as a OneNote update for iOS with document support.
