At this year's Xbox Showcase, Microsoft highlighted Flight Simulator 2024 with boosted graphics and career mode.


Flight Simulator 2024, developed by Asobo Studios, is set for release on November 19, 2024. The game will support Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Steam platforms, and will also be available via Xbox Cloud Gaming, offering accessibility for users with less powerful hardware.

The 2024 version of Microsoft Flight Simulator diverges from the 2020 release by introducing a range of aviation career paths. Players can now take on roles such as commercial airline pilot, VIP transport, search and rescue, air ambulance services, agricultural aviation, aerial advertising, helicopter cargo transport, and aerial firefighting, adding depth and variety to the gameplay.
