Ubisoft+ for Xbox: New Game Pass Getting Ready to Launch

60 Ubisoft have been tagged with "Ubisoft+", offering a glimpse at the first batch of titles that will hit the service.

-

has been working with Ubisoft to bring the publisher's Ubisoft+ subscription service to Xbox consoles for over a year now, but it still hasn't been released. The service is similar to Xbox Game Pass and EA Play, offering a library of games for a monthly fee. For $15 a month, players can access over a hundred Ubisoft titles on PC and play some games via the cloud.

Iconography and 60 Games

Recently, Xbox OS was updated with iconography to support Ubisoft+ games, indicating that the service is one step closer to being fully realized on Xbox. True Achievements discovered via its Xbox API access that 60 Ubisoft games were tagged with “Ubisoft+”, offering a glimpse at the first batch of titles that will hit the service.

The list of Ubisoft+ titles for Xbox, as discovered by True Achievements, includes Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon, Watch Dogs, and many more. It remains to be seen if the service will be part of Ultimate like EA Play or if it will be separate. On PC, Ubisoft+ offers in-game currency, season passes, and DLC packs for some of its games.

Great Games

While Ubisoft has had a rough few years, some of its titles are among the best games on Xbox. The company also has a range of upcoming Xbox games, including new Assassin's Creed games and new content for The Division 2. The way the service seems to be progressing suggests that it won't be long before we find out what form Ubisoft+ will take on Xbox Series X|S consoles.
