- Tap the “Paper Airplane” icon at the top right corner to go to your Instagram Messages

- In your Instagram conversation, tap the name of your friend/contact on Instagram
- Turn on the toggle switch to mute Instagram messages
In“Details”, you can toggle to “Mute messages” and “Mute call notifications” on Instagram.

- Tap the “Three Dots” at the top right corner of the Instagram post
- Tap “Hide” in the options menu
- Tap “Mute username” to mute that person on Instagram
