The company says it will start delivering for Business in late February. It will be available to customers on the Business Premium plan on . While the new service will be available to all subscribers, it is worth noting it will still be the preview of the solution.

This will also be a staged release, so not all customers will have the app in February. Although, Microsoft says the rollout will be complete by the end of March.

Customers can purchase Defender for Business as a standalone product, at a cost of $3 each month per use. Microsoft has observed a 300% rise in attacks during the last year, with over 50% targeting small organizations.

“Defender for Business elevates security from traditional antivirus to next-generation protection, endpoint detection and response, threat and vulnerability management, and more.
