Microsoft SMS Organizer is a popular messaging tool for available on the Android platform. While it is only available in the UK, US, and India, Microsoft keeps updating the app with interesting features. With the latest update (version 1.1.183), the app now has a snack bar for battery optimization on OnePlus smartphones.

Microsoft launched SMS Organizer in India, but it has since arrive in the United Kingdom and United States. However, it is in India where the app has become increasingly popular.

SMS Organizer is a useful tool despite the popularity of services like WhatsApp. At the moment it is only available in India, where many areas do not have the connection power to send messages online. SMS still plays a vital communication role in low-connectivity locations.

The new snack bar allows battery optimization on OnePlus users, so it is a limited update that won’t affect everyone. In fact, it is limited further because the snack bar only works on OnePlus smartphones running Android 10 or newer.

Still, other users should also grab this update because it adds an important fix:

Tip of the day:

To prevent attackers from capturing your password, Secure Sign-in asks the user to perform a physical action that activates the sign-in screen. In some cases, this is a dedicated “Windows Security” button, but the most common case in Windows 10 is the Ctrl+Alt Del hotkey. In our tutorial, we show you how to activate this feature.
