Microsoft Surface Book 3 Retails Listings Leak Online with Spec Details

According to a Surface Book 3 leak, Microsoft’s upcoming 2-in-1 will have boosted specs, including a Nvidia GPU surprise.

-

It seems Microsoft is reaching the latter stages of development for the Surface Book 3. Late last month, benchmarks emerged confirming some of the specs, including a 10th Gen Intel CPU and NVIDIA GPU. Now, SKUs for Surface Book 3 models have appeared on European retail websites before being removed.

It seems the pages were accidentally posted or leaked. Either way, the pages show the third generation Surface Book will come in 13-inch and 15-inch models, like the current range. There will be two CPU variants, the expected Intel Core i5-10210U and Intel Core i7-10510U processors.

Microsoft has already suggested the Surface Book 3 will support up to 32GB RAM, a 100% increase on the RAM cap for the Book 2. The pages show storage will be handled with a choice up to 1TB NVMe SSD.

Further information on the pages points to the price of the device ranging from 100 Euros for the base model up to 4000 Euros for the flagship.

NVIDIA Surprise

While much of the information was already known, the leak did surface one surprise. Namely, the Surface Book 3 will be available with Nvidia Quadro GPUs and not the company’s GeForce brand.

As GeForce is more focused on gaming and Quadro on productivity, it seems Microsoft is making a push for enterprise users with the Book 3.

Of course, none of this is official but the leaks do look real. If retailers are already prepping to sell the device, we could see Microsoft launched the Surface Book 3 soon. Perhaps the most likely close launch cycle would be during the roll out of Windows 10 20H1 (version 2004) next month.
