Microsoft K12 Education Transformation Network Expands in India

Microsoft has expanded its K12 Education Transformation Network to increase digitization across the Indian education system.

has this week announced the availability of its K12 Education Transformation Framework in more schools across India. In a blog post, the company says the aim is to bring more power to students as they push to acquire tech skills.

If you are unfamiliar with the Microsoft K-12 Education Transformation Framework, it is a program to help schools embrace and accelerate digital transformation. Flexibility is a core premise of the program. It allows schools to leverage the newest research gathered by experts, policymakers, and academics.

K-12 Education has already been a success for Microsoft. The program has been adopted across 50 countries.

Microsoft India says the second Microsoft Education Days event allowed 700 educators, students, Microsoft partners, and school leaders together. All parties discussed learning strategies and the future of education in the country.

Driving in digitalization in India has been a big growth area for Microsoft. The company knows the Indian market is a tech frontier that can be a major boon for tech companies.

In August, Microsoft partnered with Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited (Jio) with a focus on furthering the digital transformation happening in India. The company describes the as a “unique, comprehensive, long-term strategic relationship”.
