Microsoft Sends Out Driver Update for Older Surface Products

Microsoft has updated older Surface devices, including Surface Pro and Surface Laptop hardware with new driver releases.

-

Microsoft has rolled out a bunch of driver updates for its Surface products. Specifically, the updates cover users running older models of the hardware, such as the Surface Laptop, Surface Books, and Surface Pro devices.

It is worth noting Microsoft has labelled the driver updates as a November 5 release. However, Microsoft only rolled out the updates yesterday. As usual, all the releases can be found in the update history page.

Microsoft has described all updates under “gradual roll-out,” which means some users may not receive the driver updates just yet.

Also of interest is that these releases are limited to Surface products running Windows 10 version 1903 or newer. For the updates, Microsoft has focused on solving issues with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth problems. Specifically, components from Marvell Semiconductor, Inc.
