Microsoft Launcher Reaches Version 5.10 With Theme Settings

Microsoft Launcher v5.10 is available no through the beta channel, introducing quick settings for themes on Android.

-

is continuing to support its Microsoft Launcher tool for devices. With the latest update, the app is bumping to version 5.10 (v5.10). Released earlier this week, the update is currently only available to beta users. As usual, the update will be released to all end users later in the month.

Over recent years, Microsoft has thrown its weight behind the Launcher. Each month the app receives feature updates and has become one of the most popular apps on Android.

With version 5.10, Microsoft Launcher provides more customization over Theme settings. Four options are included, Light, Dark, System, and Transparent. For this feature to work, users will have to be running Android 9 or newer.

Looking at the dark theme, Microsoft has made improvements with this update. Users will now find it easier to read content when there is not much light in the real-world conditions.

Changelog

Here's the official change details from Microsoft:

  • Launcher theme can now follow your system theme on supported devices running Android 9 and above through the new System theme option in Launcher settings, and the dark theme is darker now to improve readability and make content easier on your eyes in the low-light condition.
  • General bug fixes and performance improvements.

As mentioned, the new update is available for Microsoft Launcher Beta, which is on the Google Play Store here. If you are willing to wait and want the full version of the Launcher, check it out on the store here.
