Microsoft has rolled out a new update for its SMS Organizer application on Google’s Android platform. With this release, the app moves to version 1.1.158 and arrives with a couple of new features.
Looking at those new features, Microsoft has given SMS Organizer the ability to send audio files, as well as VCards. Elsewhere, users can now save media files directly into the gallery on an Android device.
As always, Microsoft has also made the usual bug fixes. Check out the full changelog for SMS Organizer version 1.1.158.

If you want to update to the latest version, you can check it out at the Google Play Store.
Microsoft launched SMS Organizer in India but it has since arrive in the United Kingdom and United States. However, it is in India where the app has become increasingly popular.
SMS Organizer is a useful tool despite the popularity of services like WhatsApp. At the moment it is only available in India, where many areas do not have the connection power to send messages online. SMS still plays a vital communication role in low-connectivity locations.
“It automatically organizes all your SMS into Personal, Transactional and Promotional category to help you declutter your SMS Inbox so that you never miss any important message. Switch to SMS Organizer as your default SMS App to have the smartest SMS inbox experience ever.”
Earlier this year, Microsoft made the app more viable as a WhatsApp alternative and brought voice messaging to the service.
