Microsoft OneDrive New Storage Plans Leaked Online

New OneDrive storage options have been discovered in Microsoft Store listings that are not yet active but should arrive soon.

-

Microsoft has recently discussed new OneDrive storage tiers, creating tiers above 1TB exclusively for Office 365 subscribers. However, the company never said when the new storage options would be launched. A new leak suggests the tiers may be introduced soon.

WalkingCat has discovered leaked information detailing the tiers. Microsoft Store listings for OneDrive show options for 200 GB, 400 GB, 600 GB, 800 GB, and 1 TB annual plans. It is worth noting that none of these store listings are active yet.

Office 365 Home and Personal users will get 1TB of OneDrive storage. Microsoft will also introduce a new 2TB upper limit for cloud storage.

These Microsoft Store listings show the prices cost $9.99 each month for the 1 TB of additional storage. Other details show:

  • Expands the storage capacity of your OneDrive.
  • Monthly subscription. Your subscription will continue until cancelled. Cancel anytime
  • Requires Office 365 Personal or Home subscription with monthly or annual renewal.

Double Storage

Last month, Microsoft announced it is doubling the storage space available for $1.99 from 50GB to 100GB.

This should put it more in line with modern requirements and make it more attractive to customers. However, it’s worth noting that both this and the new feature are undergoing a phased rollout, so you may not see the extra just yet.
