Microsoft has been ramping up its plans to allow phone screen sharing on Skype for Android and iOS. First announced in April, the feature has been in preview over the last six weeks. Today, Skype revealed the screen sharing facility is now available for all mobile users in general release.
Available on Apple's iOS and Google's Android platforms, sharing a mobile screen has plenty of interesting uses.
With the tool, users can find the share screen option located under the flyout menu that is available during a video call. The feature will be particularly useful for quickly sharing documents, photos, or webpages for collaboration across devices.

New Features
Users on PC have been using screen sharing on Skype for some time. Microsoft has resisted rolling out the feature to mobile platforms for some time. The company often cited a lack of screen recording capabilities on Android and iOS as the reason for the delay.
Elsewhere, Microsoft has also simplified the video calling experience on mobile devices. Video calling has been given a new design that allows users to control features with a single tap. Furthermore, users can remove the screen of all distractions via a double tap.
