LinkedIn Merges Three Hiring Tools into Intelligent Hiring Experience

Responding to user feedback, LinkedIn has decided to unit Jobs, Recruiter, and Pipeline Builder into the Intelligent Hiring Experience.

-owned is continuing its growth and says it will merge some of its key hiring tools into one service. As part of its roadmap, the company says three talent tools are combining. This week, LinkedIn announced Jobs, Recruiter, and Pipeline Builder will become a single tool.

LinkedIn says it wants to create a more “intelligent hiring experience”:

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It's an ancient idea that we're putting to use with our products: we're moving LinkedIn's three core talent tools — Jobs, Recruiter, and Pipeline Builder — onto a single platform, the new intelligent hiring experience, which will make life for recruiters easier, more efficient, and even more aligned with how you want to get things done.”

Consolidating these three hiring tools is part of LinkedIn's ongoing effort to take on board user feedback. Also, part of the company's roadmap is a schedule for 15 new products announcements over the next quarters.

“Recruiters have told us they're often frustrated by the need to jump from tool to tool. We've heard you. So we've put all of our core tools — Jobs, Recruiter, and Pipeline Builder — on a single platform. Once you create a project, you will be able to see the results from all your active sourcing channels — search results, job applicants, media leads — under the Talent Pool tab, and you can manage candidates from there.”

The new intelligent hiring experience comes with the following benefits:

  • Single pipeline to manage candidates from multiple sources
  • Slide-in-profile view
  • New call-to-action options in the mobile app
  • Algorithmic candidate recommendations
  • Shared messages viewable in a single place
  • Bulk and individual candidate rejection notifications

Success

Last month, Microsoft released its quarterly earnings results. It was another bumper period for the company and highlighted how LinkedIn is enjoying success in recent years. Revenue for LinkedIn grew 29% through the frame.
