Accenture Microsoft Business Group Launches to Help Clients Navigate Digital Change

Accenture and Microsoft have announced the Accenture Microsoft Business Group, which will leverage Microsoft services to help clients handle challenges of digitization.

is partnering with consulting giant Accenture through their co-owned company Avanade to create a new business solution. The Accenture Microsoft Business Group has been announced, giving organizations tools to handle problems that come from digital disruption.

Clients will switch to Azure to get cloud services from Microsoft's platform. The companies will also develop business solutions based on Microsoft's various technologies. Avanade says the Accenture Microsoft Business Group will continue to develop innovative products and ensure they match changing technology environments.

Judson Althoff, Executive VP of Worldwide Commercial Business at Microsoft, noted the importance of the new platform:

“Every company is becoming a digital company. Building on our successful partnership with Accenture and Avanade, we will help customers fuel innovation at scale and lead their industries into the future. This is core to our mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.”

Building Partnership

Paul Daugherty, Accenture's Chief Technology & Innovation officer and Chairman of the Avanade board, says improving digital transformation is important. He says the Accenture Microsoft Business Group also enhances the between the two companies.
