Anyone who does even a small amount of productivity on their PC is likely to end up with numerous browser tabs open. With too many tabs open, accessing individual tabs becomes annoying and browsers can slow under the lag. To help solve multiple tab issues in Chrome, Google is working on a Firefox-style integration.
Chrome can be particularly annoying when it handles too many tabs. The market-leading browser reduces tabs to nothing more than slivers with no icons or labels if too many are loaded.
Again, this is frustrating. To solve the problem, Google is turning to one of its browser rivals for inspiration. Chrome will be gaining scrollable tabs to make finding many tabs easier. Firefox implemented this kind of ability some time ago.
At its core, the feature allows users to have a selection of arrows to scroll through tables when many are loaded at once. Basically, instead of squeezing tabs into a single layout, users can now scroll through on the mouse wheel.

Peter Casting, an engineer working on Google Chrome, confirmed the feature is in development on Reddit:
“Scrollable tabstrip is in the works. In the meantime, try shift-clicking and ctrl-clicking to select multiple tabs at once, then drag out to separate Windows to group tabs by Window.

Admittedly, it’s not a feature I love on Firefox, but is certainly makes moving through tabs easier than the traditional system. The truth is bowser developers have still not solved how to handle many tabs at once, but this is a step in the right direction for Chrome.
