After rolling out to Android phones earlier this week, Microsoft's Your Phone is now available to Fast Ring Insiders. The app can be used on Windows 10 build 17723+ to automatically sync photos from smartphone to PC.
A big selling point of Your Phone's photo sharing is that it doesn't need a USB, Bluetooth, or cloud syncing to work. As a result, it should work on all PCs, even desktops without Bluetooth functionality. You can even drop images directly from the app into Office documents.
However, the larger draw is the promise of more features to come. Microsoft is planning to let users reply to messages on their PC, interact with notifications, and more. It will use the Microsoft Graph to intelligently pull recent text messages, as well as the 25 most recent photos.

Your Phone iOS Functionality Unknown
Unfortunately, iOS users won't get access to Your Phone just yet, and will probably have a while to wait. Microsoft has already revealed that Apple's OS is likely to provide fewer features due to its inherent restrictions, and is still working on solutions.
The company probably has workarounds for some features, but would rather utilize official methods. For now, iOS users can get similar functionality via OneDrive's photo sync, but that requires cloud storage and is less privacy-oriented.
Either way, it's something for Android users to test in its limited state. Those on the Skip Ahead ring will also have access to Your Phone, though it may not be quite as stable. There's still no word on when Your Phone will release to the public, but Redstone 5 or 6 are the favorites.
