Microsoft Opens Pre Xbox E3 Sale with $50 off Xbox One Consoles

Ahead of the Xbox E3 event this weekend, Microsoft is preparing a massive Xbox One sales later this week, with hundreds of deals available.

is gearing up for its Xbox E3 press briefing, which is now just under a week away. As we wait for the big event, the company has announced a new Xbox sale. Indeed, this is the biggest sale for the game division so far this year, with plenty of deals to be had.

Ahead of the Xbox E3 event, Microsoft will open the sale on Thursday, June 7. Customers can save big on accessories and titles. However, the big part of this sale is a $50 discount on consoles. This includes all consoles, even the flagship Xbox One X.

With the sale coming in three days, here are the offers that will be available:

  • $199 for 500GB Xbox One S console, whiles supplies last
  • $249 for 1TB Xbox One S bundles such as the the Xbox One S PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Bundle, or Xbox One S Starter Bundle,
  • $449 for Xbox One X console through June 23. If you buy one before June 10, you'll also get a free digital copy of Red Dead Redemption with your purchase
  • $10 off black, white, special edition and limited-edition Xbox Wireless Controllers
  • Up to 75% off over 300 games on FIFA 18, NBA 2K18, Assassin's Creed Origins, Forza Motorsport 7, Destiny 2, Super Lucky's Tale, Monster Hunter: World, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Sea of Thieves.
  • One month of Xbox Live Gold and/or Xbox Game Pass for $1 on the Microsoft Store, or get six months of Xbox Live Gold for the price of three or save 50% off of 6 months of Xbox Games Pass at participating retailers.

E3 2018

Microsoft's Xbox E3 event will take place this coming weekend, ahead of the game trade show next week. Earlier this spring, Microsoft detailed what we can expect from its festivities as E3 this year:

As normal, the company will kick off the event with the Xbox E3 briefing at the Microsoft Theater. This will be held on Sunday, June 10 at 1pm (local). This event is where the company discusses new hardware (unlikely aside from accessories) and new games (very likely).

This year, Microsoft will be putting its Mixer game streaming platform to good use. For those who cannot be at E3 2018, the company will stream its participation on the Xbox Mixer Channel. This can be accessed through the Mixer app on Xbox One, , Android, and iOS. The broadcast will be beamed in six languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish (LATAM), and Portuguese (LATAM).
