Microsoft has sent out a new Windows 10 SDK Insider Preview. The release is available right now for members of the Windows Insider Program and bumps the SDK up to version 17069. This update coincides with the Windows Server Insider Preview Build 17074, which is also available today.
Newer Windows 10 SDK packages are only supported by Visual Studio 2017, at least officially. However, this release can work alongside older SDKs without a problem. For example, this will work in a production environment, although users will have to target applications through a production licensed Windows 10.
Of course, the big question through any new preview is what has been added to platform. Well, we don’t know is the answer because Microsoft has yet to release the changelog. The company will usually accompany these released with a blog post, but so far, nada.
We suspect the company will publish something today or tomorrow regarding what is new in Windows 10 SDK. Just by looking at the update, there is clearly one big new addition to discuss. Microsoft has added support for C++/WinRT compilers.

Insider Releases
It has been a good start to 2018 for Windows Insiders. As well as the aforementioned Windows Server and SDK releases, Microsoft also sent a new Windows 10 preview out last week. Through Windows Insider Preview Build 17074, the company made some important changes.
For example, Microsoft Edge received improvements to the Hub and autofill payment options are now supported. Certainly, if you use Edge, this update was definitely for you and included myriad other changes to the browser.
Elsewhere, Microsoft also changed folder discovery in Windows 10, made Near Share improvement, and a lot more.
