Minecraft Announcements

Microsoft went big with Minecraft at E3 2017 earlier in the month. The company introduced native 4K capabilities for the game, which will allow users to play the game in UHD on PC and the upcoming Xbox One X.

Also at the event, Microsoft revealed true cross-platform gameplay for Minecraft. The game is playable across PC, Xbox, mobile, and Nintendo Switch. Cross Play allows gamers to share across devices and play with each other.

Sony declined to be part of the cross-play format and later explained why the PS4 is not included.
