Microsoft’s Power BI June update is here and it brings new features across the board. As well as new data connectors and accessibility features, it introduces a horizontal image slicer, a data bar for the new table and matrix.

However, the improvements reach much further than that, across many aspects of the service. Thanks to program manager Amanda Cofsky, we have a complete list of all the changes:

    • Impala connector is now generally available
    • Amazon Redshift connector is now generally available
    • SAP BW connector – DirectQuery support (beta)
    • IBM Netezza connector (beta)
  • Query editing
    • ‘Add Column from Examples’ enhancements.”
