Microsoft Releases New 1705 Preview Build to Xbox One Alpha Ring, Fixes Xbox Store Issue

Microsoft has rolled out a minor update that fixes an annoying bug. The problem prevented users to access the Store when the console was set to certain language and region configurations.

Last week, we reported that the Project Scorpio listings seemed to have leaked online at $430 dollars. Microsoft is getting ready to unveil the device fully at E3 2017, but at the same time, the Xbox Team is constantly providing Xbox Insiders in the Alpha ring with new updates.

Now, the Xbox Team has released yet another 1705 preview build, the second one this week and fourth one in total. This latest preview build is a minor update which is released to solve an issue with the Xbox Store.

Several users reported that they couldn’t access the Xbox Store when their consoles were set to a certain language and region configs. The Xbox Team has solved the problem, announcing the release in a Reddit post as well.

FIXES:

Store: Fixed an issue which prevented users from accessing the Store when the console is set to one of the following language and region configurations: English (Greece), English (Czech Republic), English (Hungary), English (Slovakia).

KNOWN ISSUES:

Home: Certain content is sometimes missing when Home loads.

First 1705 build rolling out to Preview Beta testers

In addition, the Head of the Xbox Insider Program, Brad Rossetti has announced in a separate Reddit post that the first 1705 build has begun rolling out to Preview Beta participants.

Concerning Ring 3 Insiders, they will have to wait until mid next week to get the new bits. The Xbox Alpha ring is currently on build 1705 with 4 builds.
