Back on March 9, MSPowerUser reported that Microsoft will start rolling out the Windows 10 Creators Update on April 11.

Now the new Update Assistant for Microsoft’s highly anticipated Creators Update has leaked online.

Microsoft enthusiast WalkingCat has leaked a test version of what appears to be the Update Assistant for the Windows 10 Creators Update.

The version number of the leaked Assistant is 1703 and is not yet completely functional.

As mentioned before, Microsoft will roll out the Windows 10 Creators Update gradually, which means not all users will be able to get it from day 1.

Counter to that, the Update Assistant for the Windows 10 Creators Update will be available to everyone from the first day of the release.

The “new” Update Assistant is the same as the one Microsoft released last year for the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The only difference is that the “new” Update Assistant will help users download the Creators Update.

According to the leak, the Update Assistant will greet users with the following message:

One of the best features of Windows 10 is that it keeps getting better with every update.

This PC is currently not running the latest and most secure version of Windows 10. This PC is running version 14393. The latest version is 15063.

The Windows 10 Creators Update Assistant doesn’t work yet

At this stage, the Update Assistant doesn’t actually work and users won’t be able to download the Creators Update with it as Microsoft hasn’t officially started rolling out the update itself.

However, the message with which the Update Assistant will greet users, confirms that the RTM (release to manufacturing) build number for the Windows 10 Creators Update will be 15063. Microsoft rolled out the Windows 10 Insider Build 15063 for Mobile and PC to users in the Fast Ring on March 21.
