Outlook.com premium is now available for all US customers following a lengthy preview. The launch comes with a special offer price of $19.95/yr, with a regular price of $49.99.

Outlook.com Premium Features

The premium service provides several benefits for paying users and could be very useful for power users. Here are the current features:

  • 5 personalized emails: If you want a new personalized email address ending like [email protected], get it free for the first year.* If you already own a domain, use it with Outlook.com Premium at no extra charge. Either way, you can create personalized addresses for up to 5 people and sync everything to your existing Outlook.com mailbox.
  • Staying connected has never been so easy: Share calendars, contacts, and documents with ease. Sharing relationships are set up automatically between the people who have email addresses on your domain.
  • An ad-free inbox: Outlook.com Premium has no banner ads, so you can enjoy a distraction-free view of your email, photos and documents.
  • Powered by the new Outlook.com: Gain access to a new, modern inbox that includes enhanced security, privacy, and reliability features. Outlook.com gives you new ways to collaborate, manage your time, and get things done.”

The starting price is thanks to free personalized email for the first year. Following years will require an extra $10 for custom domains. The offer will expire on March 31st, so it’s worth getting in early.

However, the subscription auto-renews at the $50 price tag, so customers may want to disable it in settings if they just want a trial.

US customers can buy Outlook.com premium today from the official site.
