Online advertising

Bing Ads is Microsoft's online service that provides pay per click advertising for Bing and Yahoo search engines. It is very much similar to Google Adwords as both services use the same methods of advertising.

Namely, the maximum amount an advertiser is willing to pay per click (PPC) on their ad and the advertisement's click-through rate (CTR) to determine how often an advertisement is shown are both essential parts of the two widespread services.

In addition, the service allows advertisers to specifically target their ads through different sets of demographics and increasing their bids whenever a certain demographic sees an ad.

Advertisers can also run their ads on the time of their choosing. As a result, the ad can run during certain times of the day or on specific days of the week.
