Microsoft believes that the courses help connect the skills gap with business growth. The company says it is helping to nurture the next generation of computer science professionals. Microsoft Virtual Academy, the Cloud + Enterprise University Boot Camps, and the Microsoft Professional Program are part of the company's commitment to training existing workforces.

The Massively Open Online Courses are currently available here. Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP) exams are also available, Shuster points out. Exams cost $99 with one retake included, while three exams, retakes, and practice tests are also available for the discounted price of $279 (down from $1,287).
