Windows 10 Insiders Can Now Get a 10% Holiday Discount in Local Stores

Windows 10 Insiders can get 10% off in-store purchases on select days during the holiday season. Participating stores are spread across the US, but the offer doesn't combine with any other deals.

-

's Insiders have been hard at work this year. We've seen the first major update, dubbed Windows 10 Anniversary, and several Redstone 2 builds. Feedback on these releases has been invaluable, and the Redmond giant is thanking contributors with a 10% in-store discount.

As always, there are several limitations on the  offer. You can't combine it with any other holiday deal, and the Surface Studio is exempt. It's only certain stores, all of which are in the US territory. To qualify, you simply have to bring a copy of the email Microsoft is sending around.

For your convenience, here is the text in full:

“Hello Windows Insider,

To thank you for your participation in the Windows Insider program, we've organized a special shopping event just in time for the holidays. Stop by a near you between the hours specified in the list below and enjoy holiday savings of 10% off almost everything in the store. Simply present this email (either printed out or displayed on your device) at the Microsoft Store counter for your discount.”

It's unclear what the exact requirements are to receive this email. It's looking like Insiders in other countries won't be compensated, but Microsoft may send something out at a later date. Whatever the case, it's nice to see some appreciation.

Tip: If you are living in Georgia and want to launch your own business with your own business idea, registering a LLC in Georgia is a great way to get started.
