Microsoft Edge and PowerPoint get 3D Integration

3D is a big part of the Windows 10 Creators Update. As well as Paint 3D, Microsoft is bringing 3D capabilities to the Edge browser and PowerPoint.

At its event in New York today, Microsoft said 3D is a major component of the Windows 10 Creators Update. The company rolled out Paint 3D and also said 3D abilities will be coming to the Microsoft Edge browser and PowerPoint.

For example, 3D objects can now be placed within a PowerPoint slide. Users can interact with the object by zooming and revolving.

On Edge, 3D can work along with HoloLens to allow true 3D browsing. If you see an object or content piece you like, you can move it into the real augmented world environment.
