Microsoft Announces Dynamics 365 for Marketing, Business Edition

Dynamics 365 for Marketing, Business Edition will be released during spring, 2017 and replaces Dynamics Marketing, which will not be sold from Nov. 1, 2016.

is expanding to create Dynamics 365 for Marketing, Business Edition, the company revealed. In a blog announcement, Microsoft announced it will stop selling Dynamics Marketing on November 1, 2016. Instead, the company will launch the new Marketing, Business Edition of Dynamics 365.

However, the new product will not be available until Spring 2017. Microsoft says it has built the new solution based on customer feedback, its own experience, and industry refinements. This is the “next generation” of marketing, the company adds.

Dynamics 365 for Marketing, Business Edition will “bring our marketing automation tools and features to a whole new level,” Microsoft says. The service will “also ensuring that they harness the power of Azure and are hyper-scalable for customers of all sizes.”

The company adds that pricing and licesnsing options will be made available closer to launch. Among the features included in the service will be the ability to manage customers across sales and marketing. Organizations can also manage marketing and sales across the Dynamics 365 platfrom.

If you are already a Dynamics Marketing customer, Microsoft says the service can still be purchased at the moment. There is a path to migrate to the new Dynamics 365 Marketing, Business Editions. Customers with an Enterprise Agreement can renew until Oct. 31, 217 if they purchased the packaged from MOSP (web-direct).

Dynamics 365

Microsofte announced last week that Dynamics 365 will be launched on November 1, 2016. The service arrives with purpose-built applications. Apps offer organizations dedicated solutions for their business needs. These applications will focus on fields like Sales, Field Service, Marketing, Financials, Project Service Automation, and Customer Service.

Customers can access any apps they want. The platform integrates with , Cortana Intelligence, and Power BI. The platform works with predictive intelligence, workflow optimization, and built-in insights.

As part of its general availability announcement, Microsoft also announced Dynamics 365 markets. The platform will launch in 135 markets and cover 40 languages when it kicks off next month.
