Microsoft Bookings Scores Facebook Pages Integration

The recently launched Microsoft Bookings feature for Office 365 Business Premium is now social friendly. Users can integrate their business Facebook Page with the service for easier booking.

Bookings is a relatively new tool for Business Premium subscribers. Launched in July, the company is still expanding the feature set of Bookings. A new update for the service adds centered on adding more social capabilities to the tool.

Page integration now comes to Microsoft Bookings, the company announced in a blog post. This will make it easier for customers to schedule appointments directly in Bookings. It is especially important for small business, who often have a Facebook Page as their main hub.

Using Bookings, Office 365 Business Premium users can keep customers up to date on activities and offer promotions. There will also be a ‘Book Now' button integrated into Microsoft Pages. Microsoft says; “Once Bookings is set up on your Facebook Page, your customers simply click the Book Now button and select the service and time that works for them. Their contact information is automatically filled in for them, and once they click Book, they're done.”

Microsoft Bookings

Launched by Microsoft back in July, Users can set a device to book appointments directly online. This is possible across all compatible Office 365 devices.  Microsoft hopes users will start making bookings when they find something they like.

Unfortunately, Microsoft says this is exclusively for Business Premiums users. The company confirmed it is unlikely Bookings is unlikely to come to other Office 365 subscribers.

Among the features in the service are rescheduling, email confirmations, notifications, and the ability to cancel appointments. One of the more interesting features allows companies to manage appointments amongst employees.
