Microsoft has been coming up with some great ways to spice up the design of the Xbox One S. In July, the company announced a 2 TB Gears of War 4 bundle, and now the company has released a 500 GB and 1 TB version.
However, both bundles come with a different design to the previous dark red console. The limited edition 500GB version has a nice “Deep Blue” color, as does its controller. The regular 1TB bundle features the regular Xbox One S and controller.
Additional Details
Naturally, you’ll get Gears of War 4 with both consoles. You also get the entire Gears of War Xbox 360 collection for free. This will only be available for a limited time, possibly just with the pre-order.
The 500 GB version will set you back $299, while the 1 TB bundle is $349. Before you jump into a purchase, it’s worth looking at Microsoft’s other game bundles, which are the same price per gigabyte. The Gears of War 4 bundles will be available in Microsoft Stores and GameStop in the US, as well as EB Games in Australia.
Australian customers will get a digital download of Gears of War 4 rather than a physical copy. That may be a good thing, though, as physical copies don’t come with Xbox Play Anywhere functionality. Unfortunately, you can’t get the blue controller separately. However, you can always customize one to suit your needs.
The bundles will arrive in stores starting October 11th, the launch day of Gears of War 4. The exception is Australian customers, who will have to wait until November 1st.
