first announced Secure Productive Enterprise earlier in the summer. When we discussed it back in July, we explained that it is a re-branding of Enterprise Cloud Suite (ECS). On day one of the Ignite 2016 conference yesterday, Microsoft announced the availability of the new service. Secure Productive Enterprise will debut on October 1.

ECS was first conceived as a way of simplifying the licensing process. Secure Productive Enterprise is a beefed up version of ECS. It combines a number of cloud security services under one umbrella. Enterprise, , and Enterprise Mobility + Security are all covered by SPE. Microsoft explained in July that the service was based on customer feedback.

“These products and services together enable employees uncompromising productivity, , mobility, business insights and, perhaps most importantly, a secure experience.”

Secure Productive Enterprise bundles the company's various cloud security solutions. Available in the service is Advanced Threat Protection and Microsoft Cloud App Security. Azure Information Protection and Office 365 Advanced Security Management are also included.

“(EMS) provides an identity-driven security solution that offers a holistic approach to the security challenges in this mobile-first, cloud-first era. Our technologies not only help you protect your organization but also identify breaches before they cause damage.”

Enterprise Mobility + Security E5

At Ignite, Microsoft also revealed that Enterprise Mobility + Security E5 will be launching Oct. 1 too. With this release, customers will get the new Azure Information Protection service. The service has been in preview since July.

Mobility + Security E5 offers numerous abilities. It can classify, label and protect data when it is created. This allows a system based on source, content, and context, which can be fully automated for efficiency. With this suite, customers can more easily protect sensitive data.
