Microsoft Rolls out Build 14393.105 to Windows 10 Mobile Release Preview and Slow Rings

The update download appears as version 14393.103 on devices, but upon further inspection, actually bumps the build number to .105. A changelog for the build is not yet available.

Just a couple of hours after Windows Insider head Donar Sarkar announced there would be no new Insider builds this week, reports began rolling in of a new build for . Apparently, is upgrading build monitoring services, but it's Sarkar was probably referring to the fast ring.

There doesn't appear to be a changelog for the build yet, and the download incorrectly reads 14393.103. On inspection, the update actually bumps the build number up to build 14393.105.

Build 14393.105 on Desktop

This takes those in the Slow and Release Preview ring to the same version as the desktop production ring, which came on August 31. The PC build primarily fixed some issues with and other services.

It also improved the compatibility for the Xbox One controller on various games, improved battery life on the Microsoft Band and improved performance when purchasing apps on the Windows Store.

The August 31 changelog also came with some upgrades to Windows 10 Mobile. It enhanced the support of NFC chips and fixed an issue with game or app audio not resuming after a call.

It's not yet clear what differences have come with the most recent mobile build, but we'll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
