IT and BPM services provider Technosoft has enhanced its links with Microsoft this week. The company announced a new co-engineering lab in Bellevue, Washington. Technosoft and Microsoft have been long-time collaborators.

The Michigan-based company will locate its new lab close to Microsoft’s campus. The co-engineering lab will see Technosoft work with Microsoft on new developments. The focus will be put on Microsoft services like Skype for Business and other communications programs.

In an official press release, the company says the lab will cover 3,000-square feet. As well as working with Microsoft directly, the lab will also work with Microsoft partners. Developers will test technology created by partners to ensure it works efficiently on top of Microsoft services. The company says this will speed up program development.

Skype for Business Development

Technosoft points out in its press release that it wants a 360 Relationship with Skype for Business:

“Microsoft is a market leading innovator in the fast-growing Unified Communications (UC) category and they understand better than most the critical importance of extending “Skype for Business” platform to increase market share,” said Richard Penington, CEO for Technosoft Corporation.

“As a Microsoft Silver Partner for Applications Development we have worked closely with Microsoft to create a rigorous and streamlined testing process that will ensure third-party UC products built on top of Microsoft technologies meet all of their quality requirements.”

The company has often worked with Microsoft. The application development and product management testing provider says it is also looking to grow in Michigan. Microsoft and Technosoft have been working together since 2003.

To enhance its ties with Skype for Business, a larger lab will be built in Bangalore, India. That 15,000 square-foot development will see direct collaboration with the Skype for Business engineering team.
