Lenovo Reveals Two VR Ready Windows 10 Desktops at Gamescom

Both devices feature up to 32GB of RAM, a GTX 1080, a 6th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and support both 4K and VR. The parts inside are customizable, and will begin shipping as early as October.

A lot of companies have been trying to get their fingers in the virtual reality pie of late, and is no different. The hardware manufacturer has its own goggles, and today at  it unveiled the IdeaCenter Y710 Cube and the Idea Center AIO Y910.

The main idea behind the Y710 is VR and 4K ready power on a portable level. The PC comes with a built-in carry handle for easy transport and weighs only 16 pounds. The AIO, on the other hand, focuses on being a great living room VR and media center.

IdeaCenter Cube Y710 Specifications

The specs for the Cube are pretty impressive, though we'll leave it up to you to decide if they're worth the price point. Here are the features reveals in the blog post:

The PC will launch in October, starting at $1299.99 for the GTX 1070 version, but likely going much higher if you want the most powerful hardware.

IdeaCenter AIO Y910 Specifications

The AIO Y910 doesn't have a focus on portability in the same way the Cube does, but features a beautiful display and the option for Radeon's new 460 graphics card. Of course, the monitor also bumps up the price of this device, and it costs $1,799.99 with a 1070.

As with the Y710, Lenovo isn't skimping when it comes to the specs of its all-in-one. It has a built in, borderless QHD display while also offering the performance of a high-end desktop:

The devices aren't yet available on the Lenovo website, but Microsoft says to watch that space for further details on the pricing of both.
