Microsoft Pix camera app today got updated in App Store. This latest update adds support for several new languages and reduces the volume of the shutter sound. It is a minor gripe, but it is good to see Microsoft taking care of the details.

How it Works

Pix automatically improves photos and videos taken with the iOS camera. It can also create live images through the use of artificial intelligence. Image stabilization gives the service something that Apple's own iOS Live Images feature lacks. Other features in Pix include the ability to convert videos to Hyperlapse videos.

The app is constantly snapping when it is engaged with the camera. The shutter action conducted by the users simply tells Pix which frame is wanted. As shutter control is sometimes hard, Pix complies a 10 frame window around the shutter being exposed. Users can then choose the best frame from the choices.
