Windows Insider Microsoft Resized

Dona Sarkar, Microsoft’s Windows Insider head, made the announcement on Twitter. The build is now available for fast, flow and RP rings.

Build 14393.10 will come as a surprise to some users, so soon before the Windows 10 Anniversary Update scheduled for today. It’s likely that it will fix a few of the bugs found in 14393.5.

Responding to whether or not the mobile build would be released soon, Sarkar responded, “Not, not tonight. Everyoen get rest. It’s going to be a busy busy day tomorrow.”

Users on tenforums have noticed that the version of the kernel image has gone up from 10.0.14393.5 to 10.0.14393.0, including the BuildLabEx strings. Other than this, no changes have been discovered yet.

Windows 10 Build 14393.5

As a refresher, build 14393.5 contained some minor bug fixes and improvements. The full changelog for that can be found on the Feedback Hub.

One of the more major changes was improved extension performance on Edge, specifically for Last Pass and AdBlock. It also fixed a battery drain issue caused by runaway CPU processes when idle.

Additionally, some Store users were noticing apps weren’t launching due to a licensing issue. Microsoft remedied this, as well as some Store search issues.

We noted that some of the mobile issues from build 14393 have not yet been mentioned, so it’s possible that 14393.10 will address these. The problems ranged from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues to problems will Wallet.
