Microsoft is in Toronto, Canada this week for the Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC). The company had some news for Microsoft datacenters in the Great White North at the event today. Datacenters in Toronto and Quebec now have Dynamics CRM Online. Microsoft says it is the first provider to bring the “most complete” cloud service in Canada.
The announcement means customers in Canada get in-country residency for their data needs. Microsoft says customers benefit from having its cloud privacy, security, control, transparency, and compliance services.
With Microsoft cloud services for Dynamics CRM Online in Canada, enterprise partners in the country can deploy products quickly. In its announcement blog, Microsoft highlighted Antonella Candido, VP Delivery of Adoxio. She says housing the customer relationship management software package in Canadian datacenters will boost output.

Dynamics AX and Project Madeira
Microsoft also announced Dynamics AX availability in preview starting today. The enterprise resource planning software will “go live” in Canadian Datacenters from September 2016. Hosting customer data in Canada will allow Microsoft to include a disaster recovery tenant and help business partners boost their productivity.
As well as its Dynamics announcements, Microsoft also discussed the first public preview of Project “Madeira” in Canada. The business management solution is reaching public preview for the first time in the country. It helps small and midsized businesses manager finances through Office 365 tools. The cloud service is cross platform. Project Madeira is based on Azure and is compatible with Web, Windows, iOS, and Android.
