Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2016 is Underway in Toronto

This year’s Worldwide Partner Conference will be busy. CEO Satya Nadella will speak at the event, as will other leading Microsoft employees as they help partners grow.

's Worldwide Partner Conference, WPC 2016, has kicked off in Toronto today. More than 15,000 attendees will represent 144 countries at the event. Microsoft's global partners will visit the Worldwide Partner Conference seeking ways to grow business and increase collaborations with Microsoft.

There is likely to be plenty of news as the week unfolds, and we will be following the event closely. The keynotes will likely be the most interesting aspect of WPC this year. The keynotes can be seen live on the WPC page on July 11, 12, and 13 between 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM.

Notable among the keynoters is Microsoft CEO , who should drop some interesting insights at the Worldwide Partner Conference. Also on the week's agenda are Judson Atlhoff, President & Chief Legal Officer Brad Smith, and Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Partner Group Gavriella Schuster.

We've designed WPC to help partners seize the opportunity by inspiring new thinking, sparking new relationships and driving new business across our partner ecosystem. More than 145,000 meetings are scheduled onsite for partners to network and learn, all with the goal of increasing their profitability and business growth. At WPC this week, we will celebrate our partners' successes, recognize our Partner of the Year Award winners and finalists, and announce new technology innovations and channel investments to help partners maximize their profitability potential in the year ahead.”

Worldwide Partner Conference events

Aside from the main events, Microsoft will also make its employees available to global partners. Those in attendance can use the company's resources to help grow their business. Microsoft will also seek to strengthen ties with partners. Dona Sarkar, the recently appointed new head of the Windows Insider Program will be at the event.

Other WPC sessions will be hosted by well-known Microsoft employees such as Phil Sorgen (Corporate Vice President, U.S. Enterprise and Partner Group) and Chris Capossela (chief marketing officers). Some of the resources at the event will include workshops, panels, and sessions.
