Arrow Launcher, the quick and battery efficient app by Microsoft has finally reached version 2.0. The new iteration of the app comes integrated with Office 365 and allows you to access your office accounts without installing an app for it.
It lets you read and edit your existing documents and also includes options to upload files that are stored on your Android device.
Microsoft has also introduced a refreshed stock of wallpapers and improvements in Arrow's memory and performance. The Redmond giant has reduced its network activity by 50%, allowing users you save some cellular data usage.
Arrow is a product from Microsoft Garage, the internal research and development group that explores experimental projects. It has numerous applications on its workbench that can be test-driven for free.
In the previous update for Arrow Launcher, Microsoft allowed users to hide page headers and SMS previews, adding a cleaner look to it and boosting its performance.
Arrow is quite popular on Google Play Store with 1 to 5 million downloads. It is a follow-up to Android apps such as the Next Lock Screen and Android Wear search assistant Bing Torque and is getting better with each update. It makes it easy to find, launch and get back to your favorite apps, keep in touch with friends, and stay on top of the important notifications.
