The latest project to be churned out by Microsoft Garage is a new Chrome extension that will help you organize your online shopping experience. Called Personal Shopping Assistant, the extension remembers products you have visited through the Chrome browser and gives users tools to compare items from different sellers.

Personal Shopping Assistant is landing on 's Chrome browser initially, but will also be launching it on the Edge browser. The company's new browser now supports extensions and end users should see the results sometime next month.

The assistant is designed to automatically capture and save product information from product pages you browse. After downloading the assistant, simply shop online with your chrome browser as you normally do. Products you browse will automatically start appearing within the assistant, under “Browsed”. You can additionally save products you love to “Favorites” and get notified when their prices change.

This is just the latest product from , the collaborative division of Redmond that lets developers work together on outside projects. The division has rolled out numerous new products this year, including Kaizala, News Pro, SandDance, Plumbago, Sprightly, and the Hub Keyboard.

Microsoft Garage will also make the assistant available through Skype and other phone messaging services as a conversational bot, while it is currently available on mobile through a companion website.

The Personal Shopping Assistant is available now on the Chrome Web Store, or from the official website, where there is also more information.
