Microsoft Expands Xbox One Backward Compatibility with Three New Titles

Anomaly Warzone Earth, Aqua, and Lazy Raiders have been added to the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list of Xbox 360 titles for Xbox One.

-

is keeping the wheel turning on the number of game titles available for Backward Compatibility, and three more games have been made available on the Xbox One.

The company as discussed in the past how difficult it can be to achieve Xbox One Backward Compatibility, but it is a feature that sets the console apart. Sony's market-leading PlayStation 4 does not support backward compatibility, so Microsoft's plans have the potential to be a big selling point for the Xbox One.

Over the months, the company has been working hard to bring more titles from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One and has even talked about the potential (albeit complex) for adding original Xbox games to the 8th generation machine. Last month the first dual disc game was added to the backward compatible list and expect the number of titles to continuously grow.

As for the three new games, they are low key titles and not blockbusters. However, their price on Xbox Arcades reflects their aspirations, so each could be worth a look.
