is a Universal Windows Platform (UWP) application that gives users the ability to use the same apps and games through multiple form factors. This means it is possible to pick up where you left off on the same app for desktops, tablets, laptops, smartphones, and eventually Xbox One.

The full version of the app will be automatically rolled out to Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 users who had the previous version. One of the standout features is support for Microsoft Continuum, allowing full PC functionality on a Mobile device that is compatible.

Remote Desktop has been in preview form since its announcement, but the full version gets some new features:

Desktop connections are preserved

User names are preserved

Passwords need to be re-entered

Gateways are preserved

Remote resources URLs are preserved from Windows Phone 8.1 but require new sign in

Remote resources are not preserved from Windows 8.1 and need to be re-added

Some general settings are preserved

Those running the previous Windows 8.1 version of the app will notice the following features have been killed:

Multiple simultaneous connections
