A new update for Windows Store for Business adds volume app purchases, a new feature that makes buying apps across more enticing for organization.
In a blog announcement, Microsoft has announced a new Windows Store for Business feature that lets developers sell paid apps in volume, allowing organizations to purchase multiple and bulk apps at once. The company says that the feature is available in “supported countries/regions” and adds that it will be announcing new purchase options in the future.
Windows Store for Business is a web-based app store that connects enterprise customers with applications, allowing them to purchase and then distribute them to Windows 10 devices across a network.
Until now the store has been somewhat limited as it did not allow businesses to buy applications in volume, but that has not been rectified. Microsoft says that it will be expanding the purchase options for Windows Store for Business and in upcoming updates will release invoicing, organization wide in-app purchases, and discounts.

Buying volume apps works the same way as it would a single consumer buying an app from the regular Windows Store. Information and purchase management can be completed through the Dev Center, where apps bought in volume will also be viewable.
