Microsoft is offering a guided cloud tour of Windows 10 and Office 2016 over two days of online live events that the company hopes will turn businesses on to the Windows ecosystem.

The “Microsoft Immersions” events will be held later this month and will give participants to see Windows 10 and Office 2016 and experience their features over a cloud connection.

As the company says, “This isn't your typical live event: you won't see any slides, demos, or sales pitches.

There will be four sessions held over two separate dates, but these events will only be open to users from the United States:

Wednesday April 20: 10am (PT) and 12pm (PT)

Wednesday April 27: 10am (PT) and 12pm (PT)

During the sessions, those participating will be able to discuss business obstacles in the computing environment through an online roundtable. A live cloud gathering will be controlled by one of Microsoft's “trained facilitators” who will give a hands on tour of Windows 10 and Office 2016, showing off the features of those core products.

Participants (limited to 20, so reserve quick) will be able to connect to the sessions via a link provided by Microsoft and access a remote desktop that will allow them to view the products in actions. Redmond has laid out what we can expect to see in the live sessions:

Keep information secure while being productive—Make it easier to work securely and maintain compliance without inhibiting your workflow.

Capture, review and share notes from anywhere—Boost your team's productivity by sharing documents and collaborating in real time.

Use social tools to find experts and answers—Break down barriers between departments to share knowledge quickly.

Quickly visualize and analyze complex data—Zero in on the data and insights you need without having to involve a BI expert.

Co-author and share content quickly—Access and edit documents even while others are editing and reviewing them—all at the same time.
