
According to Rumors, Microsoft is adding touchscreen-support and 2K resolution to Continuum with the next big Windows 10 Update.
It was in the middle of 2015 when Microsoft unveiled what was dubbed as Windows 10 ‘Threshold', and since then, users wonder how the next update, code-named Windows 10 Redstone, is going to pan out.
A new rumors spread by german website Winfuture suggest that the Windows 10 Redstone will have a focus on improving Windows 10´s Continuum feature, adding support for touch screens and higher definition displays supporting up to 2K resolutions.
Winfuture claims it received credible information from a PC manufacturer that can confirm that such features have been included in one of the latest updates. However, Microsoft has not confirmed if Windows 10 Redstone indeed will get these improvements
Windows 10 Redstone Build 14267
Meanwhile, Microsoft has released a preview of its Windows 10 Redstone build 14267 to its Fast Ring testers. It appears that the build includes several visible added features, as well as some of the much needed improvements.
ZDNet has revealed some of the more notable changes in of build 14267, like improvements to the UI of the ‘Favorites' bar on Edge, and a features that allows to clear browsing data upon exiting the browser. Windows 10 Redstone build 14267 also improves music-searches with Cortana and comes with the typical unspecified bug-fixes.
